Just watch!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aGfX3l7fSzA

Before my former priest (and SVS grad.) Fr. John Platko died in my first year at SVS he said that he thought the Protestant world was theologically rediscovering Orthodoxy, at least in terms of Chruch history. What do you think?

Dear Fr. Justin,

This is quite fascinating. Thanks for this clip.

I just got your phone message regarding our assembly. Perhaps I will try to give you a call here in the next couple of days, and we can arrange flights, etc. I'm actually on holidays right now, thus the reason for communicating through your blog - I don't have your email address handy : )

Looking forward to catching up.

And congratulations on the birth of your son!

Wow.

I don't know what to think yet, but I never thought I'd see that.

Fr. Justin,
I will be meeting you when you come to St. Anne! That video is...wow. What kind of church is this? The speaker refered to himself as a bishop. Is it AME?

Um...yeah...that guy is from a schismatic Orthodox church in India AKA the Malankaran church.

They are in communion, strangely, with the Anglican church.

I must say, I did enjoy this clip. Except the heretical part where he says "[Christ was] So much of God that he got his OWN self up, by his own power!"

Umm...no...the Father raised the Son by the Spirit!

I do think, however, that it would be a whole lot more awesome if people responded in the liturgy like those people did to the Word of God.
